Ministry Apprentice    –   2022-2023

Christ Church is a large and growing Anglican evangelical church between Bournemouth and Poole. We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and demographics and enjoy a loving family life as God’s people together.

We are looking to appoint two Ministry Apprentices for a one-year term, extendible to two years by negotiation, from September 2022. As an Apprentice at Christ Church you would be well supported by a staff team and the wider church family.

This post is ideally suited to someone who wants to experience and explore full time gospel ministry (though it is open to all) and the role will be tailored to help you explore your gifts and abilities as well as to the particular needs of the church. You can expect to be:

  • involved in Bible teaching ministry to the whole age spectrum in the church family, including with children & young people.
  • trained in Bible teaching ministry, as part of a staff team and on formal courses with opportunities to experience a wide range of church ministries.
  • a servant of Bible teaching ministry, helping with practical and administrative work.

The role is modestly supported and accommodation and expenses are provided, but some funds will also need to be raised.
