Morning Gathering – 10.30am

We meet each Sunday at 10.30am and we’d love you to come and join us! Our Sunday Gatherings are for people of all ages – from the very young to the very old and everything in between.
We share the Lord’s Supper once a month.

Now that the government has relaxed their rules with regards to what happens if you’re contacted by the Track and Trace app, we will no longer run a booking-in system for Sundays.

We will however still have an area for those who would prefer to sit in socially-distance seating. This will remain at the back right hand corner of the church building. For those who are happy to sit elsewhere in the church building, but would still like some space between them and other households/bubbles, there will be cards available as you arrive, for you to place on seats either side of where you sit, to notify others of your preference.

If you are using the Track and Trace app, the QR code poster will still be available as you arrive so that you can check-in.

As we seek to love one another and show kindness too, the wearing of masks in the building is encouraged. Please love others as well by staying at home if you are ill, and especially if you have symptoms of Covid, cold & flu and stomach bugs.

Hand sanitiser will be available as usual at the entrance and near to the toilets. Please do continue to use this.

After the main part of our gathering in the church building coffee and refreshments will be available in the hall. The outside areas will also be open at that time to talk and catch up with others. That is, both North (car park) and South sides of the building and out the back on the patio area, but parents will need to supervise their children.

The Welcome Team will be on hand to help you with any queries you may have as you arrive on Sunday, and to make sure you feel comfortable as you gather with others.

What to expect

At each gathering we aim to build up and encourage Christians and help those investigating the Christian faith. Each will feature:

A Bible reading and a talk explaining it. We believe that God speaks to us today through his word the Bible – so the centrepiece of our services is listening to what he has to say to us.

Singing: We sing a wide range of songs – some traditional, some modern – that help us praise God and encourage each other. We have a strong music group to lead us. Currently only the assigned singer for each song will be allowed to sing due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Praying: God promises to hear and answer his people’s prayers, so we pray to him for concerns in our church and the world, as well as thanking him for who he is and what he has done.
