***Meetings are currently online only via the church YouTube channel***
From Sunday 13th September 2020 we will meet together again in the church building at 10.30am.

Anyone and everyone is welcome!

To book a place please click here and then click on the Sunday Gathering you would like to join, or telephone the church office on 01202 760952.

It will be a great blessing to meet together in person again and the Bible’s encouragement is clear in urging us not to give up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing (Hebrews 10:25). The instinct of every Christian believer will be to gather regularly.

BUT…. for those who do not want to risk exposure to more people because of being over 70 or clinically vulnerable and shielding, they should not feel guilty about not coming to church at the moment. We are not yet able to provide groups for 0-14 year olds but people will be able to come and go at any point (using the one-way system) which may be useful for parents with very young children.

In order to remain COVID Secure when we gather, we are applying guidance from the Government and the Church of England. All procedures are kept under review and we will respond to new guidance and lessons learnt over time.

So here are a few things to note to help keep us COVID secure:

  • We will be sitting apart from each other, but we can sit in our bubbles/households.
  • We won’t be singing (though we will listen to songs).
  • We will operate a one-way system round the building
  • We won’t be able to chat afterwards.
  • We will be wearing face masks (please bring your own).
  • We will limit the number of people in the building
  • We will have hand sanitiser available on arrival and around the building.
  • If you don’t feel well in any way, and especially if you have a new cough, loss of taste or any other COVID-19 symptoms, then you should certainly NOT come. And neither should you come if you are in a household with someone who has symptoms. If we are unsure whether we are ill but very keen to meet with others, we might ask ourselves, ‘what is the most loving thing to do in this situation?’
  • If you use a Church Bible these will be placed in quarantine after use.
  • We will keep a record of attendance for 21 days to support the NHS Track and Trace programme

But we will be together in the building, hearing God’s Living Word together and encouraging each other with our presence! Livestreaming of the gatherings will continue via the church YouTube channel

We look forward to seeing you.
