Christianity Explored - 9 Week Course

What is it?

Christianity Explored is generally a 9 week course based on Mark's gospel for people who'd like to investigate the Christian faith. Each evening we meet at 7.45pm. The evening includes discussion of questions people have raised and watching a video explaining part of Mark's gospel which leads to further discussion. We draw a formal close to each evening at 9pm, though people often stay for coffee and chat until 9.30pm

Who is it for?

As the name suggests, the course is for anyone who would like to explore Christianity. Courses included people from a wide variety of backgrounds, so it is easy to fit in. Most are not Christians, or not sure about whether they are Christians. But Christians have also found it a useful opportunity simply to brush up on the basics.

How much does it cost?

The course is totally free. Even the materials we hand out come with our compliments.

Do I have to commit to coming to all of it?

We encourage people try out the first night and see if it is for them. If you decide you'd rather not come back again, we won't hound you!

Will I be put on the spot?

No. You won't be asked to read aloud, pray or sing. If in the discussions you'd rather listen than talk, that is fine too.
