Ladies' Groups
We organise termly events to give Ladies a chance to get together and hear a talk on some aspect of the Christian faith. These have included craft based events such as card making evenings and the popular Advent Crown evening, as well as food based evenings such as barbeques and chocolate evenings!
Women's Bible studies
We run two Bible Study Groups specifically for women:
- Mums @ One: A young mum's Bible study meets every Friday lunchtime during term at the Church hall. Childcare is provided. For information contact Rachel Paine on 01202 762164.
- Wednesday afternoon study: This meets fortnightly on Wednesday afternoons. For more information about this please contact Sue Symonds 01202 757676.
Ladies' Fellowship
We meet in the church hall at 2:30pm on alternate Thursday afternoons during term. We enjoy meeting with friends, singing some favourite hymns and spiritual songs and we have a variety of speakers bringing a Bible message or sharing their own experiences - sometimes in missionary work or other Christian ministry.
The 'journal' part lasts an hour and is followed by a time to chat and get to know one another over a cup of tea and biscuits. There are usually three 'special' events each year - an outing by coach to some local beauty spot and cream tea, a Garden Tea Party and a Christmas lunch in a local hotel. At present all our ladies are 'Senior Citizens' but we have no 'age limits' and all ladies are very welcome. For more information you can call Mrs Pam Golding on 01202 706 735.
