Explorers Aged 7-9
Our aim is to teach the children about the Lord Jesus Christ and the difference he can make to our lives and we try to do this in a way which is fun and informal but also dynamic and thought provoking.
We begin each session with a game or activity which is designed to get the children thinking about the theme for that session. We then read a passage from the Bible and discuss the meaning of the passage.
After a brief break for refreshments we consider how we can apply what we have learned from the Bible to our everyday lives. We learn together through reading, games, crafts, drawing, quizzes, role play and drama.
Explac meet every 2nd Friday evening from 6.30pm-8pm in the church hall for games including football, basketball, hockey, relay races, word games, charades, puzzles and quizzes.
The emphasis at Explac is on having fun, learning to play together and to support and encourage each other. Members are invited to bring along friends.
