Sunday Mornings at 10.30 am

More Christianity in practice: James (18 April to 16 May) We conclude our series in the letter of James. True and false wisdom, real humility, coming back to God, making plans, facing suffering, praying for healing... these are some of the topics in the second half of the letter. As before, we will see the difference believing in the living God makes in all of these practical areas. Again, our home groups will be reading the last part of the letter together.

Parables of the kingdom: Matthew 13 (30 May to 27 June) When Jesus first spoke these words, people were so eager to hear him that He had to speak to the crowds from a boat moored offshore. "The kingdom of heaven is like...", He began, introducing four very striking stories about the way God works in the world, and how we must respond...

Forgotten heroes (and villains!): 2 Chronicles Pt 2 (July) We continue our series from evening church as we encounter true but forgotten stories such as the baby hidden in the temple... and more. We will see what God looks for in us, and how he works in the good, the bad and the ugly...

Sunday Evenings at 6.30 pm

What we're about (18 & 25 April) Two talks on God's purpose for His people and their striking implications to help us grow in vision as a church.

Forgotten heroes (and villains!): 2 Chronicles (2 May to 6 June) 2 Chronicles must be one of the most unexplored books of the Bible - but there is treasure here! Packed with largely-forgotten stories (including some very tight corners), it is not just a history book but digs into our hearts, showing us what wholehearted Christian living looks like, and above all encourages us, by showing us the true hero of the story - the living God.

Finishing the race: Hebrews 12 (20 June to 18 July) The letter to the Hebrews describes itself as a "word of exhortation", and so it proved to us as we read most of it last year. Now we come to the great, climactic chapter 12: a great stimulus to perseverance.
