Sunday Mornings at 10.30 am

Christianity in practice: James (10 January to 28 February)
Trials and temptation, riches and poverty, taming the tongue, making plans, worship that pleases God, faith and works, getting on with each other: the letter of James is famous for its emphasis on practicalities. But at a deeper level it also shows us how surprisingly different things look when we believe in God, and challenges us about how we can be signed-up believers, but actually live like atheists! Our Sunday morning sermons will be in parallel with reading James in our home groups.

The weekend that changed the world: John 18-20 (7 March to 4 April)
As Easter approaches we read an eyewitness account of what really happened that first Easter, in Jerusalem. And John does not just tell us the story; he interprets it to us so we are left in no doubt of its personal significance for each of us today.

Sunday Evenings at 6.30 pm

Face to face with Christ: John 9-13 (24 Jan to 28 Mar)
Over the centuries people have come up with many different ideas and explanations of Jesus. People today tell us it's all just a matter of interpretation. How refreshing, then, to get back to John's first-hand account. As we encounter the real Jesus on His final journey to Jerusalem, we will be surprised and invigorated by the unadorned truth. John wrote to build us up in our faith, and also to present Jesus to non-Christian enquirers. Our Sunday evenings will also be for both purposes.
