Christ Church Staff
Alasdair Paine (Vicar) has oversight of the church and is responsible for much of the preaching. He is married to Rachel and they have three school aged children. He became a Christian while a student at Cambridge University. Before ordination, he was a graduate student in the USA and then a teacher. He served in a church in Exeter before starting at Christ Church in 2002.
Richard Hagan (Assistant Minister) is responsible for our programme of outreach and our youth and children’s work. He is married to Corinne and they have two small children. He read Law at Oxford before turning to full-time ministry among students and teenagers. He trained both in Sydney and at Oak Hill College, London, before starting at Christ Church in 2005.
Andy and Abi Nash (Ministry Trainees) split their time between working at Christ Church and attending the Cornhill Training Course in London. Together, they lead our Pathfinders (11s-14s) group. Andy is also responsible for ministry to local workplaces, and Abi helps with administration and women's work. Andy became a Christian while a student at Aberystwyth University and Abi while she was at college. Andy has been working at Christ Church since 2004 and they assumed this new role in 2006.
Barry and Shirley Windsor (Church Visitors) co-ordinate visiting, prayer support and Christian encouragement for our members who are ill or stuck at home. Barry is a retired GP and Shirley a retired nurse. They started this new role in the church in 2006.
